1. Gluten Free Apple Muffins from Vegetarian Mamma.  These look moist and delicious, with big chunks of apples both in the muffins and on top.  Apples and cinnamon are one of the most comforting flavour combinations, especially when the weather is cold.  Your house is sure to smell heavenly when you are baking these!

5.  Chocolate Avocado Muffins from Kitchen Apparel.  Who would have thought to pair avocado and chocolate together?  Or to put avocado in any muffin for that matter?  But don’t these look delicious?  The avocado adds to the moisture and gives the muffin a delicious texture.  These are a nutritious option when you need to grab a quick breakfast for the road.

6. Gluten Free Lemon Blueberry Muffins from Kitchen Belleicious.  I know I already have one blueberry muffin recipe on this list, but check out that delicious crumbly topping on these ones!  My favourite part about blueberry muffins is the sugared top, so it’s great to find a recipe for a gluten free crumble topping!  Don’t these look delicious?

7. Gluten Free Lemon Muffins from Black Dog Food Blog.  These look so pretty (okay, I know it’s good photography, but really, isn’t the photo making you drool?) and they sound so refreshing.  The ultimate goal when doing gluten free baking is to make something that tastes like the regular wheat recipe that we are all used to (or at least that’s my goal).  And these actually look just like regular muffins.  Definitely worth giving them a try!

8. Gluten Free Maple Pecan Muffins from Ditch the Wheat.  Maple syrup season is just a couple weeks away where I live, so this recipe is just perfect for this time of year.  It uses coconut flour, which to tell you the truth, I have never bought before, but it sounds like a great flour to experiment with.  And I bet that maple syrup and pecan topping tastes amazing!

9. Gluten Free Chocolate Zucchini Muffins from Momnivore’s Dilemma.  This recipe is on the same page as the avocado muffins, but it uses zucchini instead.  I love sneaking veggies like zucchini into sweet foods that my kids might actually eat.  I have a sneaky smirk on my face when I watch my kids happily eat their dessert without suspecting it might actually be healthy!

10. Peanut Butter and Banana Muffins from Eat Good 4 Life.  I always love making peanut butter and banana muffins.  The flavours go together so nicely!  Plus, the peanut butter makes the muffin heartier and keeps you full for longer.  These freeze well if you have any leftovers, which makes it super easy to take these to work or school if you need a mid afternoon snack.
