24 Clever Christmas Wrapping Hacks

I always leave Christmas wrapping to the last minute. I love Christmas, I love buying the gifts, I get excited about hiding the gifts so no one can find them. And theoretically I love the idea of beautifully wrapped Christmas presents with gorgeous ribbons and bows. But when it comes down to it, it’s usually late on Christmas Eve and I’m scrambling at the last minute to wrap all the presents. They usually end up wrapped from the same giant roll of Costco wrapping paper (it’s a good thing that stuff is double sided!) and then I take a Sharpie and write the names right on the wrapping paper. How fancy am I?!

Last year, our youngest was only 4 weeks old at Christmas, so my poor husband was left wrapping all of the kids’ gifts on Christmas Eve – right after he finished building the girls’ massive doll house. I was pacing in and out of the room, rocking and bouncing my baby boy (who didn’t sleep then, and still doesn’t sleep now…) micromanaging the wrapping. I’m pretty sure we argued the whole time… Lack of sleep and all, plus my husband hates when I hover… poor guy.

This list of Christmas wrapping hacks is AWESOME! So many beautiful ideas and lots of great tips to help make the whole wrapping process easier and more organized!

My former sister in law (long story…) wraps presents beautifully. Like amazing. She wraps them exactly like the presents you are going to see in the list below. She’d walk in with her pile of kraft paper packages with velvet ribbons, fresh greenery and perfect labels, and I’d walk in with my uneven stack of barely taped shut presents. *sigh*

Do you have someone like that in your family? Or maybe you’re that person? (I’d love to be that person someday…).

24 Clever Christmas Wrapping Hacks

Now, I’m not going to say this list of Christmas wrapping hacks is going to magically make you more organized. I know it’s definitely not going to make ME more organized. But maybe it will inspire you to start wrapping your gifts a few days before Christmas rather than the night before. And maybe, just MAYBE, you can be that person with the amazingly wrapped gifts.
