Pipe Cleaner Teddy Bears

Hello everyone! It’s Megan from Homemade Ginger and I’m happy to share a super easy and fun craft today!

My kids are obsessed with stuffed animals. They would have every size, shape and kind of stuffed animal in our house if they could. I keep expecting their love for stuffed animals to fade away as they grow older, but it’s still going strong!

I knew that any teddy bear themed craft would be a huge hit with my kids and probably most kids, so I came up with a pipe cleaner teddy bear craft that is super easy to make. In fact, my daughter immediately LOVED playing with these little bears and spent a long time giving them names and pretending like they were all a part of a little bear family. I hope your kids will love these little bears just as much!

Attach these bears to the end of a pencil for a fun craft that your child can take with them to school. You can make your bears any color that you’d like, or you could use this same method to make different animals!

Pipe Cleaner Teddy Bears

Here is what you will need:

• Pipe Cleaners


• Small Googly Eyes


• Pom Poms – various sizes


• Hot Glue Gun


• Scissors

Begin by cutting a pipe cleaner into three pieces. You will need a 2 inch piece for the arms, a slightly longer one for the legs and the longest one for the body.

Wrap the shortest piece of pipe cleaner around the longest one.

Wrap the pipe cleaner in a coil around the end of a pencil.

Take the last piece of pipe cleaner and wrap it around the bottom of the coil to form the legs.

Next, glue 4 small pom poms at the ends of the arms and legs.

Lastly, attach the pom pom ears, googly eyes and a small black pom pom nose to a large pom pom. Glue it onto the top of the pipe cleaner body.

And your tiny teddy bear is finished! Make a bunch in different colors to make a teddy bear family!

These pipe cleaner teddy bears are so easy to make and stick on the end of a pencil. You will love creating these tiny teddy bears!
