There’s no other fruit that defines summer as much as watermelon! It’s the perfect food to take on picnics, to slice up at a bbq or to snack on as a refreshing treat on a hot day! Nothing beats a fresh slice of juicy and sweet watermelon on its own, but did you know that there are tons of things you can make with watermelon, besides just eating a plain slice of it? Watermelon is one of my absolute favourites, and my kids are completely crazy about it too! Now that they’re making me buy them every week, I’m getting a little better at cutting them up (although I still fear for my fingers’ safety every single time I slice through it… I wonder if that fear will ever go away?)
