These 4th of July Desserts are so creative! I never would have thought there were so many possibilities, but there are, and they’re all awesome!
If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you’ll know that I love making crafty things out of food. Halloween and Christmas are my favourite, but wow, there are some pretty incredible 4th of July ideas that have me a teensy bit jealous!
I live in Canada, so I’ll be celebrating Canada Day on July 1st. So sadly I won’t be trying any of these amazing desserts. But I’m still admiring how creative they all are. All I have to do is keep the red and white and eliminate the blue, and it will work for us Canadians. It’s not as much fun, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do!
Our kids love celebrating on July 1st. Every year, we take them to the carnival put on by our city and we walk around waving flags, buying cotton candy and checking out the random events. And then of course, everyone goes to bed and we can hear the popping of fireworks outside our window until the wee hours of the morning.
I’ve never been to the United States on July 4th, but I’m guessing your Independence Day looks kind of similar to ours? Except you guys get to enjoy the colour BLUE along with the red and white that we Canadians get to celebrate with. And I tell you, when you add in that blue colour the possibilities for creativity go up like crazy!
